How can Apple justify denying the Feds access to the San Bernadino shooters IPhone?

1- is it legal to interfere with the law and a court order?

2- How can they get away with the possibility that the IPhone may possibly expose vital Intel to the nation?

3- Why is everyone always so concerned with the government accessing personal information? If you have nothing to hide what's the big deal?

I think it's about them wanting apple to create a software that will let them breach his phone. But it's concerning because if apple created this software then the feds can use it on other phones i think.

I believe its in the best interest of the public that companies are fighting for their customers privacy. It does seem in extreme cases that police should have more permissions.

Building a generic tool to evade the anti-hacking provisions of iPhones is very dangerous. Once it is built, the temptation to reuse it without warrant, or by foreign entities, or by thieves becomes overpowering.

the law concerning warrants, as I understand it, applies ONLY to the specific effects stated in the warrant. What the FBI wants [partly to overcome their own bungling] is a tool that would let them hack ANYONE's iPhone. Sure, they'll claim it will only be used with a proper warrant -- and given the various revelations of government spying already, do you really believe that?

and given the abuse of the IRS to handicap its political opponents by the Obama administration, do you trust our government? Much less China's?

They CAN'T deny the Feds access to the phone. The Feds have the phone. What is being demanded is that Apple CREATE a means to bypass the security. ANY means to bypass security on ONE iPhone is a means to bypass security on All iPhones. The Feds are actually demanding Apple ELIMINATE the security of all iPhones.

The ASSUMPTION in your #2 is EXACTLY what the ENTIRE Bill of Rights is there to prevent.
