How to convince Verizon to give a early upgrade?
I want to get the Iphone 4s but my upgrade isn't until 10/24/12 which is only a few months away but my phone is a piece of sh! T. The earpiece barely works, people can barely hear me when they call, it always freezes, all in all it's messed up! I really want my upgrade now! How can I convince them to do it early! I'm going to the store tomorrow!
It's doubtful that they will give you an early upgrade unless you've been a customer for a long time, or have multiple phones with fancy plans and are paying them a ton every month.
If your phone really is a POS, I would just buy a simple, cheap but decent used replacement Verizon phone on eBay and switch to that, and use that until your upgrade date. If you provide your own phone, Verizon shouldn't charge you to switch to it and it shouldn't affect your upgrade date.
Sorry, they won't allow you to do an early upgrade. However, if you purchase a phone at the full retail value, you can ask them to activate it.
- Will verizon let you do an early upgrade? My upgrade for verizon comes 11/6/2012 but i was wondering since the iphone 5 is comeing out will verizon let me do a 2 month early upgrade?
- Will Verizon give me an early upgrade? I have recently gotten into a wreck and lost my phone. My upgrade is in February and I would like an Iphone 4 or 4S. I have been in contract for more than a year. Do you think theywould allow? Possibly even in December?
- What is the different between full upgrade and early upgrade? So AT&T said I qualify for a early upgrade on my iPhone now but I quality for a full iPhone upgrade in october. What is the difference?
- Verizon upgrade date? Any way to upgrade early? So today I went to the Verizon store to get the new iPhone 6. It came to 399, and everything was cool. But then, they realized I couldn't upgrade phones until March of 2016, and that if I still wanted the phone, it would come too around 800 dollars. So I was like yeah no thanks, and I left, all bummed out. So I was wondering if there's any way I could get the iPhone but, not for that outrageous price?
