How to hide the fact that I broke my IPhone 4S s screen?

My Iphone slipped out of my pocket in class today and it fell flat on the floor and the screen shattered.
The touchscreen still works just the glass thats broken. I told my mum and she said that she's not pay for fixing it. So from now until i get enough money to fix it ( about a month) how can I hide the fact that its broken from my dad?

  • Would a screen protector hide screen scratches? So I just got a new iPhone 5 last week and today I noticed that It has 2 hair sized scratches on the screen. And it's really annoying me because it's new and it already has scratches. ( probably from coins in my pocket) The scratches are really, really small, so will a screen protector hide them?
  • Will a screen protecter hide the scratches on my iphone? The front screen, the glass, has alot of small scratches all over the front and a crack from the bottom corner to the other side, will a screen protected make the scratches less noticeable? I'm not worried about the crack, it's hardly noticeable.

So two days ago I was playing outside and I was checking the time on my iPhone and it fell on the street so the top half of the phone cracked, it didn't effect the phone at all except its hard to see with all these cracks and scratches on it and plus it looks stupid. So my friend told me if I buy a mirror screen protector or a reflective screen protector it will hide all cracks and scratches on my phone. So I'm asking is this true and will it work really good?
  • Should I get a anti glare screen protector for my iPhone 5c? Will it hide scratches? I need a screen protector and i read that anti glare screen protectors can hide scratches and prevent smudges and glare. Anyone know if they are worth buying or if it's even true that it hides scratches?
