How can I power down my iphone 5 without using the screen slide?
Hold down the power button and home button down until the device turns off (any longer than that and it will turn on again)
Hold the "Home" button on the front of the iPhone while continuing to hold the Sleep/Wake button. Release the buttons as soon as the iPhone's screen turns black to turn it off. Do not continue to hold the buttons or the device will reset and you'll lose all of your data.
- Why doesn't my iPhone 4S lock screen not have the slide up and use camera icon? The OS is 5.0.1 (duh) and I haven't jailbroken my iPhone. Is something wrong? Because I haven't had the camera icon on my lock screen since the day I bought my phone… I still have to double tap the home button like on ios5… Please help?
