How can I protect my iPhone from being hacked?
I think it already is. I'm in my 60's and not up on tech. My phone does weird things like I don't have control of it. I've been having a lot of trouble with burglaries so my brother got me the ring doorbell cam only I use it inside because my apt manager says it can't face out from my door. Ok so I leave it inside works good only it renews or it sounds like I refresh it but I'm not doing it. It does it by itself. I think I'm being hacked.

The iPhone is very difficult to be hacked unless you have modified it with specific software that is not generally available to the average end user. This is called "jail breaking". All apps that are officially available have to be approved to be put on the Apple App Store, this is to prevent rogue software compromising your phone. Your English isn't great and you admit you aren't technical. Get a technical friend to have a look and explain how the doorbell software works.
Smart phones do a great many things on their own, that doesn't mean hacked.
The downside, if any decent hacker wanted into your phone bad enough, it is incredibly easy.
Ask yourself: 'why would anyone want to go the trouble to hack your phone?'

- Is my email being hacked into? I was checking my emails on my iPhone and for one of my accounts a pop up said something like "POP3 verify your account info" but my account is up-to-date.
