How to return my iphone to it original state so I can unlock it?
I got an iphone and try to hard reset it and it froze un reset loop, jailbroke it and now doesn't read my sim card and can't use it

I had a similar problem, this is what I did.
I plugged it into my PC and restored the whole thing, after restoring it, I then updated it right away. I used the unlock software that I bought from http://iPhoneunlockshop.com, this led me to another fully updated and unlocked iPhone.
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone if I don't know the original carrier? Recently my old iPhone broke (water damage) in which my mother gave me her new but un used iPhone 5, I know it's locked to a different network. But I don't know which network, if I went to a shop to get it unlocked, would they be able to if I didn't know the original sim carrier?
- Is it possible to get an IPhone in a different state from where you live? I've been using t-mobile, but they don't offer the IPhone so I'm changing plans as soon as my contract is up. The issue is I'm going to be out of state the day it ends. Will it be a problem to get it out of town?
- If you go to another state in the US does your iphone 4 location service turn off? My friends from ohio and his iphone location service was on in ohio. And the location service was on for Facebook so when I messaged him and he messaged back it would show in ohio in the city where he was. Just recently he went Alabama and I messaged him on facebook however it shows sent from mobile without the location. Did he purposely turn off the location?
- How to unlock my iphone 4 which is not activated with original carrier? I made a mistake by cancelling my Telus service without unlocking my iphone 4 which is locked with it now. Now they can't do it because it is no more active. Is there a third party solution to this?
