How can people tell your location from your iphone? - 1
I'm from the US and will be travelling to the UK in 2 weeks for work. My mom has an anxiety disorder, so her therapist recommended that I not tell her to prevent potential panic attacks. We communicate via text, phone calls and whatsapp. A couple questions for you folks:
1. If she were to call me, or I were to call her using my regular AT&T iphone while I were in the UK would there be any indication that I was out of the US?
2. Would there be any indication on whatsapp that I'm out of the country?
3. Is there anything on my iphone features that may give it away?
Thanks everyone for your time. This is a sensitive situation, but in the end, for her mental health (she has severe panic attacks when things are outside of routine) this is the only way to go.

- When you rest your iPhone, does it stop sharing your location? If you have your location shared with people indefinitely, and you reset your iPhone will your location stop sharing with them/ will they be notified? (When someone stops sharing location manually it says "so-and-so stopped sharing location with you") Or is the only way to stop sharing your location with someone to go into the convo, and go to details and click "stop sharing location"?
- What setting is on iphones that shows people your location? When you text them? I know there has to be one, i was wondering how to turn it off. I know this cause i was on my friends iphone awhile ago, and when he sent and received texts you could see location. I don't believe it's the location services setting or icloud, what is this i'm thinking of? Like when someone texts you on an iphone and you can click the text and see the location,? galib does that apply to showing people where you are when you send them a text on an iphone too?
- Tech geniuses. Is there a way to fake your iPhone s location? *specifically on find my friends /location services*? Wondering if anyone can help me either 1) freeze my iPhones location at a specific spot or 2) completely fake the location (without jailbreaking my phone) I'm required to share my location at all times to my parents and need a night a feeedom.
- Is there anyway to spoof your location on life 360 or change your gps location on an iPhone? I've tired just about everything to not be tracked on Life360 and it will notify if you turn it on airplane mode or turn off your location settings. Also can't delete the app need help. Or is there anyway to change your gps location in an iPhone without jailbreaking it?
