How come I can't text with my iphone 4s?
People i can text are blue, and people i can't text are Green. Although it use to work when they were green despite the fact i didn't pay my bill. Why does it decide to not work now? I use imessage and i text people with Wi-Fi. Is there a solution to this?
IMessage works off of Wi-Fi and cellular. The 'green' messages only work on cellular. Those are people without an iPhone or iDevice and your phone knows this. IMessage and Facetime both run through Apple's servers and not the cell carrier's towers. So without a cell signal, you can still use iMessage or Facetime to iPhones, just like it was an iPod or iPad, you just can't text anybody that doesn't. That's cellular. Best luck.

A friend of mine has her Iphone set to when a text comes up on her lockscreen, it says the contact but it just says "imessage" where the text should be.
