How come it says I still have photos when I don't on my iPhone?

I've deleted all of my photos and videos but it still says that I have some in there… And it's really taking up space! Please help me! As you can tell I'm trying to download the new update so I need all the open space I can get!

I'm not sure. I Would back up everything to your computer then delete whatever you can, install the update then restore. The update isn't very big, it just needs over 4 gigs to install. Once installed you will still have most of the storage left.

Thats weird, Just a theory but maybe the videos/ pictures are in messgages that are still on your phone that you haven't deleted, I have an iphone too and never had that problem, then again i have around 6,000 photos in my photos app so I would have no way of knowing which are coming from ones sent in texts or which are in my app. Could aslo be a glitch just restart your phone, (won't delte anything just turns off and right back on,) this is the method to fux alot of software problems on your iphone, hold top lock button and home button together at the same time for at least 10 seconds or until your screen gets black then let go of both.

I'd do the update from the computer, that way the downloaded update file, does not have to go to the phone, but to the computer, it will install from the computer to the phone (using iTunes of course).

That way you don't have to delete stuff to make room for the download file on your phone.
