How come my iphone won't update?

My iphone won't stop saying searching… How can I fix this? AT&T sent me a new sim card but still no luck. My phone says there's an error updating 7.1.2- please help. And yes I have reset my phone and toggled airplane mode and Wi-Fi.

Try and plug it into itunes and update on there

  • Will I lose my jailbreak and how come I can't update to ios 6? My iPhone 4 is factory unlocked and it's jailbroken. I tried to update to ios 6 but it pops up saying error occur and it pops up to click close or settings. It didn't say anything about what's the error. So it won't let me complete the update.

I want to jailbreak my iPhone again it's the 4s I updated it by accident and want to downgrade it I tried restoring it with the 6.1.2 ispw on iTunes but it won't work and don't know how long to wait to be able to either jailbreak or how to downgrade it on my Mac so I can jailbreak it please help
  • When does jailbreak come out for each iOS update usually? I've finally decided to jailbreak my iPhone 4 after pondering it over a bit, and it's my first time. I've already synced it, and backed it up to iCloud, but it seems as if the version for the most recent iOS update for iPhone 4 hasn't come out yet. When does a new version usually come out? How long does it normally take?
