How come some DHCP clients are identified and others arent?
I put dd wrt on my router. I'm looking at my dhcp client list. Some of them are identified and others are just random symbols.

Why is the iphone recognized but not the android?
Its my phone so its not like its some neighbor stealing my Wi-Fi.
According to the DHCP standard, one of the fields passed between the DHCP server and the client is the client's hostname. This hostname is what the client system identifies for itself. For instance, when you first setup your IPhone, either it gave you the option to setup your own hostname or it took your first name and used it as part of the system naming process. Android doesn't give you that option and auto generates a random host name.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.

- My Instagram hashtags arent working? The hashtags will appear under my picture, but nobody else see's them. I know this because my friend looked at my account through her iphone and said that she never sees tags. The amount of likes i get on a picutre are noticibly different. It went from 50 to 5, and I use to tag popular search words. Is there a way to fix this or contact instagram? -My accout IS updated.
- Iphone problem! I can't get text messages from some people, but can from others? I have a iphone 4, running on the latest version; ios6.0.1? I believe if I'm not mistaken. I use it on t-mobile, i believe it is factory unlocked. I do use imessage, i attempted to turn it off and see if the person could text me again; still haven't received. I do receive text message from some people. I restarted my phone a couple of times. has anyone had this problem? If so what should i problem check to try to fix
