How could I do pressure switch?
So I was at table dinning with my little brother when he said that people couldn t stay up in air for more than one second and I told him that we could but he wasn't believing me.
So IIm thinking about making pressure switch that activates a chronometer when we jump and it does a lap when we land on it again. It should record the time spent in air.
Now I know that I can make a switch with aluminum foils and when we take off the circuit opens and it closes another circuit which would activate the chronometer. Now the problem is when it's landing.
IIm gonna se if we can activate the iPhone chronometer with the headphones which would be helpful because I wouldn t need to buy one, I could just use some old headphones and plug it to the iPhone.
Any help would help me a lot!
You can do the work if you want, but you won't be able to do it - gravity pulls at 9.8 m/s^2 or 32 ft/s^2 - which means that in the first second from 0, an object falls 16 feet (4.7m) that means a person would have to jump 8 feet in the air to be off the ground for a second. The standing high jump record is 5'. The running high jump record, which involves flopping over the bar and landing on cushioning away from the take off is just over 8 feet.

- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
