How do app developers make money?
I know most app developers make money by either ads or in-app purchases. But on android and iphone there are dozens of apps (snapchat is one example of many) which has no ads or in-app puchases so how do they get money?
They sell it to companys willing to support it, this is more a business question, and some apps you can still buy things
There are some other methods of monetization except in-app purchases or ads:
-an app that will charge a certain amount from the beginning
- free app will be an advertisement of of something that will be sold
-a software product can be downloaded free (so-called 'lite' version), while its extended, 'premium' features and services are offered for a -payment subscription (paid access)
-using user base for the further monetization
