How do I get my iphone 6 to turn on and start working again?
If it's crashed rf just gone flat:
Leave it on charge for at least two hours.
Then press both power and home buttons at the same time and hold them in for 10 - 12 seconds, with the charger still connected. The Apple logo should appear. Release them when you see that. If not, leave it a couple more hours and try again.
It is very common for phones and tablets to not boot up properly after the battery has got too low and the thing has just run out of power. A hard reset is needed to force a proper restart, as if the device had previously been turned off properly.
Whilst in a "crashed" state the fast charge circuits may not work so it can take some hours to get enough power in to the battery for it to start up.
It does not affect the contents or delete anything.
(The equivalent for most android devices is power + volume_up or for later iphones, power + volume_down).
If it's gone off because it was dropped or got wet, all you can do is take it to a phone shop to see if it is repairable…
