How do I get my texts to stop going to my sisters phone?
We both have iPhone 7 s and use our moms apple ID, but we keep getting each others texts and that never used to happen before, does anyone know how to fix it?
I'm using a version before iOS 11 so it might be different, but…
Try going to settings > messages > send and receive
Does it send and receive from the Apple ID? If it does, change it to your phone number
Get separate Apple IDs.
Ya get another account… Or turn off texts
In settings, you can turn on our off if all parties sharing the same I'd, get each other's messages and texts. Check both phones. DH and I had this problem after an update. Solved in seconds.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.

I'm on a tarrif where i get unlimited text 150 mins and 250mb of data (Vodafone) and i was texting my mother and all of a sudden my texts wouldnt send and then my network went it came up no service on my phone ( i'm using an iphone 3gs i don't care about what phone i have as long as i have one lol ) then my network came back on and i have my internet and my calls but don't have my texts can anyone help me to sort this out

Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- How to stop texts from going through an iphone when you get a different phone? I just switched from an iPhone to an HTC one. Now when I text my friends the replies show up on my old iPhone do you know how I can stop it? I know that it has something to do with imessage being over Wi-Fi so my phone works w/o a sim.
