How do I keep my friend from using my Apple ID on her iphone?
Me and my friend both have iphones. I let her use my apple id because hers didn't work. I don't trust her. If i change the password on my apple id will she still be able to use it?
When you change your password, it will NOT log your friend out, BUT it will keep nagging her to type in the new password.
No. She will need the new password
No. You should change it without mentioning it.
Changing the password should stop her from getting any further access to your apple id account.
Why does she need to use your Apple ID, this only allows her access to your account, NOT hers. So if she wants to snoop into your iCloud account, she can. If she needs a new Apple ID she can create one at any time, she will lose access to any paid apps she has until she re registers them with the new Apple ID. So again, why does she need to use your Apple ID again?
And you can change YOUR password any time that you want to. And no once you do that she will not be able to gain access to your account. Just make sure that BEFORE you change the password, that you remove ALL devices from iCloud access that and the APPLE ID that are NOT YOURS.
Master Of Puppets has it right, but you can at the same time that you change your ID remove her iPhone from your listed devices.
Remember that all devices using your ID are listed on YOUR account. I would say that she has no account of her own (and probably never did have one of her own) since Apple allows being listed on one account ONLY.
She can start her own account if her iPhone is actually her iPhone and not a previously stolen/lost/sold iPhone that was never shut off by the original owner. If the phone company (and Apple) are not notified of a stolen/lost/sold iPhone, it is not shut off in the data base and thus can still be reactivated on a new phone number as long as there's an active Apple ID available to use with it.
Not only does leaving her in your account allow her access to your devices, but also allows her to use the Apple services at YOUR expense for downloading anything she wishes from the Apple Store.
No
Password change
Change the pasword and sign out of all devices! And tell her you forgot its pasword

- My friend has complained her sons iphone got hacked and racked up a bill of £500,? Not sure how but apple have said that its past the 30 day period which you can challenge it and are threatening to send bailiffs over. They have been to citizens advice bureau and they say that if the contract says 30 days there's nothing they can do. Apparently it came from russia
- I'm asking for a friend. She was paying for her adult sons iPhone 7 Plus device on the sprint network and he got arrested for hitting her? And is no longer allowed in the house. Long story short the police managed to confiscate the iPhone and gave it to her before he was arrested. She now wants to give the phone to her other son, and doubts her arrested son will comply with giving her the passcode. Is there anyway sprint would erase the phone for her so it's like a brand new phone? Or is the son legally supposed to give her the passcode? Anything we can do or is the phone useless.
- How do I transfer my friend's files and storage on her one iPhone7 to her other iPhone7? My friend has two iPhone 7s and wants to give one as a gift to a friend. The Apple store told her they can't transfer the stuff she has stored on her older 7 to her newer one. She wants to transfer or at least wipe her stuff from the older 7 so she can give it to her friend. If the Apple store can't do this, where does she go to get this done?
