How to make an icon for a web page like i can on my iPhone?
On my iPhone i can save a web page as an "app" on the home screen. I was wandering if there's any easy way to do this from safari on a pc? My dad only goes to certain cites on his computer and just wants them to click on when he opens his computer to start the page. He is currently running windows 7 and is using safari.
Simply drag the icon that appears to the left of the URL in the address bar to your desktop and it will create a.webloc file. Click the icon to open it up in your default browser.
- Why does Apple make itunes so hard to get back to the iphone page? Ok so I have iTunes open, I plug in my iphone, and I can see the iphone tab on the right that lets me look at my phone stuff. I go to update my apps, and when the updates have downloaded, iTunes throws me to the music area, and there's absolutely no way to get back to the iphone screen. The button that says iphone isn't even there. I have to shut down iTunes, unplug the phone, plug it back in, and wait for it all to come up again. Has anyone else experienced this?
- On an iphone 5, How does one listen to youtube while on another web page? Atm I'm either stuck on the utube page or the vid stops playing. Please don't direct me to a utube vid, only tell me if you have an iPhone 5 and can do it. I've seen it done on the 4s. Detailed instructions appreciated Ty
