How to report a text message scam?
I recently got a text message saying i had one a free Iphone 4S. It said to go to a link to claim my prize. When i went to the site it was just what i thought. They wanted me to enter a contest and agree to messages from "trusted third parties".So i've kept the text message but i didn't go through with anything. Its fraudulent and i want to know what my next step should be.
And your phone probably has a virus, don't click strange links.
- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- Why could i have gotten a text message with no text box? Yesterday morning, I looked at my smart phone ( android) and I got a text from someone. I clicked on the contact's text and there was no message, no blank bubble, nothing. It just looked like one of us was getting ready to start a conversation but no message was sent. (Extra info: I may be wrong but I think this certain contact has an iphone.) What could cause this? I don't want to ask the person because it would be extremely awkward.
- Where can I go to report a website that is a scam? I bought an iphone case from a website called IphoneGlam.com on JULY 7TH. It said they shipped it but no details on where to track it. I just googled "iphoneglam scam" and it seems like everybody has the same problem. I want my money back and I want to report this website as well. How do I do this?
- When I text other iPhones why is it sending as a text message? I have an iPhone 4 I was on AT&T and I just switched to straight talk. In my setting I have all the iMessage and everything turned on. Sometimes it will work whenever I text another iPhone but most of the time it won't. I have tried turning the phone off and back on. It's really irritating. If someone could help me that would be great.
