How to set up my university email account to my iPhones mail app? - 1
It's the mail app that came with the phone; it's an iPhone 4. I keep trying everything and it says something is wrong with the incoming mail information. I had it set up before, deleted it (I know, stupid), and now I want it back.
Ask your university's IT department.
We don't know how what the settings are. Heck, we don't even know which university you're attending.
Note that your university's IT department might actually have a webpage that describes what the proper configuration is. It's not like you're the very first student who wants to use an iPhone to access your university e-mail account.
