How to chat on gmail app for iphone?
Ok so I have the gmail app on my iphone and i want to chat with my friend on it but i don't know how to chat, it shows previous messages i sent from the computer website but i want to chat on my iphone and it seems like i can't find the icon so i can talk to my friend ( all it shows is messages i sent from the website which i used from my computer ) it says reply but it sends an email
You have to go to http://www.google.com/...e.com/talk on your iPhone's browser. That, or you can download Trillian for iPhone and hook it up with your Google Talk account. The Gmail app is designed for e-mail only, not chat.
- Why does gmail sign me out of my account every time I close my safari app on my iphone? This is a recent development and I'm starting to get really irritated. It started happening today after I cleared my history. Before today, I could close all my apps and when I opened them I would still be logged into my gmail account. This is no longer the case, and I'm not sure why. I cleared my cache and enabled cookies, so I don't understand why gmail is doing this. I've probably tried logging into my gmail account 10 times trying to fix this.
- What does the minutes next to the iPhone signal mean on te Facebook chat app? When I'm on Facebook chat app the people who are on mobile have minutes next to their names as well as the iPod/ iPhone picture. It's misleading as you don't know if someone's currently on face book chat, does it mean how long ago they were active? So if this guy was constantly on 1 minute, does that mean he's online on his phone?
- Webcam chat on GMail? Hi. I met this girl online who wants to chat with me on Gmail web cam chat. Not quite sure what this is but I do have a Gmail account. Can I do this on my iPhone as I don't actually have a webcam for my desktop? If not I guess I can just buy a webcam as they are quite cheap but I'm still not sure how this works. Is it the Google equivalent of Facetime?
- Need an Iphone gmail chat app? I'm looking for an app that would allow real time I'm chat with someone using the Gmail instant message chat feature. I have the gmail app but it seems only able to Chat via emails and not I'm as it does on a computer. I want to message someone using an older phone so I need something that does not require them to DL an app, Any ideas?
