How to stop purchased songs from syncing to a iPhone?

I purchased some song from the iTunes store on my iPhone and I can't get rid of them.
I've unclicked all of the automatic download/sync options on both my iPhone and iTunes, and even when I delete them from my iPhone they automatically restore themselves, I even have 'Sync only ticked songs and videos' clicked on my iTunes but these albums still get back onto my iPhone -.-
How do I get rid of them for good?

Go to Edit > Preferences > Store. Turn automatic updates off.
Then go to the Devices tab of the same window and make sure the little box next to "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically" has a blue check in it.

I've done exactly as suggested and it makes no difference I'm afraid. I only 'allow' a playlist for the phone to be synced but it uploads all purchased items anyway. Infuriating.

This totally worked for me if I clicked manual manage music and videos too. I went from 19 gigs-11. Connie

  • Iphone stop syncing with my email account? I was trying to clean up my computer and in the process deleted something that allowed my Yahoo email to sync with my iphone. Now my iphone does not receive any new emails. I really need this to feature. It is very useful for me. Does anyone know how to repair this?

I made it so that my pictures from my cameraroll will sync into my sisters phone cause she has some samsung phone but I don't want my pictures syncing anymore so I uninstalled dropbox app but I don't know if that stopped the syncing so just making sure! i don't talk to my sister much so i can't ask her btw.
