How to transfer an iTunes library from one iPhone to another iPhone?

I have an iPhone 3GS. I just pre-ordered the iPhone 5. When it comes in, I want to transfer all my apps from the 3GS to the 5.Is there any way that I can just copy my iTunes library specific to my iPhone 3GS to the 5?

  • Itunes says synced with another library? I have bought music on my iphone 4 and want to sync it to the computer in order to burn it to a disc. I also want to take music from my itunes on my computer and sync it to my phone. When i try to sync it an error message comes up saying that it is on another library and the only option is to erase it off of my phone and i don't want to do that. I have never synced my iphone with any other account or computer and they are logged into the same apple id.
