How does an iphone survive a fall from a plane, but not my kitchen counter?
Pretty sure I'm done with apple. Had the iphone for about 15 months, and definitely not going to buy a whole new one.
Added (1). Phone looks fine from the exterior. Screen is intact. No scuffs on the outside.
Added (2). If people are just going to joke around, then don't even bother responding. No one spends that kind of money on something advertised as being a strong product, bump resistant. If it can't withstand a fall from a reasonable height, then the product has no place being in any home.
Depends on how it fell, onto what kind of surface it fell, and the angle of impact.
I once had a phone (not an Apple) that cracked when I turned a corner and bumped into my wife's hip. Can't explain that one, either.
Apple generally expect their customers to be able to hold their phone and not drop it all the time.
Allow me to ask a similar question. How does a plane survive a cruise altitude of 30, 000ft, but not survive a bump with the ground?
I'm done with Boeings. Their planes break everytime I try to land in a tree. I've had this plane for 15 months, I'm not getting a new one.

If you can't take care of something, then move along. You sound like a chronic complainer, I'd rather see you use other companies products.
