How does Apple know if your one year warranty is up or not?

My iPhone's camera is blurry for some reason and I want to go see if I can get a new one. How will they know my warranty isn't over? Like I know it isn't, but how will they?

I guess they have it recorded in there system and I'm guessing you may need a receipt which will have te date on it.

Date your product was manufactured and if your apple ID had AppleCare it would show it on the database

Apple will use your serial number as a reference.

As long as the serial number is intact on the device/box, then you can bring it in.

They'd check the serial number.

  • Will the one year warranty on my iPhone camera damage? I didn't buy AppleCare, but my phone still comes with a one year warranty regardless, right? If so, does that cover like the blurriness of the camera lens? Like I did nothing to it, it just randomly starting taking blurry pictures and if you compare it to another iPhone you can tell the quality is different.
  • Will apple still cover me with their 1 year apple warranty? My uncle gave me his iPhone 4S as a gift, it has warranty until November 2013 and for some reason the phone turns off by itself about every 3 hours! The phone does not have any water damage as the water indicators are white, will apple still cover me on fixing it or giving me another one since I'm not the original owner but the phone is still under their warranty!
  • Will Apple replace my iPhone under the included 1 year warranty? I bought my iPhone 6s Plus just 1 month or 2 ago. Well last night i plugged my phone in to charge and it wasn't registering that the charger was plugged in. I left it plugged in and today I woke up to see that not only did it not charge but my phone had lost power. I'm assuming that this is a problem with the charging port. I've tried 3 other Apple chargers and none of them work.
  • What pops up when Apple checks your iPhone one year warranty? Like besides if you still have it or not, like what shows up? They don't get anything like my phone info within my carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.), right? Or do they? And they check with your phones series number, right?
