How does data, texting, and calling work outside of the US?
I'm Going to the UK this summer and I'm not sure how my new iPhone is going to use data. When I have Wi-Fi does texting still go onto my bill? And, am I charged extra to use data?
Yes, you would be charged extra for international text messaging and calls. Your Wi-Fi is also on a limit to, but it is quite large.
Standard texts are charged as texts at international rates. IMessages will use either data (at international rates) or Wi-Fi.
If you don't sort out your data in advance it will be exorbitant.
No… You will not be charge. But your Wi-Fi limit is 50 gb you used more than 50 gb than charges will apply
The same as they do in the US. Wouldn't advise using it for those purposes outside of the US though, since that would be roaming which is pretty expensive.

- Person keeps calling and texting me? So today this random number started calling me and texting me saying some crap. I have a jailbroken iphone so i started text bombing him and then he starts saying he is going to come to my house and fight me and i also posted his number on face book. He knows me some how or atleast knows someone thats knows me cos he got my number and he knows my name and where i live. - My data, calling, and texting all stopped working on my iPhone? My carrier is Verizon, and all of the sudden my data and calls and texts all don't work on my iPhone SE. I woke up one morning and nothing worked so I updated my phone thinking maybe that was it but all that did was enable iMessage and FaceTime through my e-mail… I know my Verizon is still working though because nobody else in my family is having these problems. It's really stressing me out and I don't know what's wrong.
