How does iPhone 2G download apps? - 1
So, I'm going to buy an iPhone 2G (I know it's obsolete but I don't care. But my question is can iPhone 2G download older versions of apps from iTunes? For example if the 3rd version of an app isn't compatible with the phone will iTunes just give me the first edition? Is the same thing with Cydia too? I want that cool app that changes your carrier name and I want YouMail on the phone. Will these work as well? Also, for any iPhone 2G owners how would you describe the audio quality when using earbuds?
No it can't. This is why people would advise against buying an obsolete device like it. Same with Cydia though you would have a better chance with it.
This is why you should get an iPhone 3GS at least.
