How does RadioShack work with mobile carriers?
The other day I went into Sprint to get an iPhone 5s for $200 (with a 2 year contract) and the clerk told me "If I were you I'd buy this phone at RadioShack, they're only $79" so I did and sure enough I left that same day with an activated new iPhone 5s. (RadioShack printed the 2-year out and I signed it there). This had me wondering though, why would Sprint allow RadioShack to sell phones to Sprint customers when RadioShack a lot of times has better prices? They're basically giving RadioShack permission to take away their sales? Obviously there's more to the story that I just am not picking up on. Can anyone shed some light on to why this is?
RadioShack is selling on the behalf of Sprint. They of course still get the money at the end of the day.
- Would the T-Mobile Contract Free iPhone 6 support Indian mobile carriers? I'm on a vacation in USA and I'm thinking of buying the T-Mobile Contract free iPhone 6, just wanted to know whether I would be able to use it with my local i.e. Indian mobile-carriers?
- Will the factory unlocked iphone 4 work with any carriers? I want to take this phone to a different country. If i get a sim card there, will the iphone 4 still work if it has been factory unlocked?
- What other carriers work with a factory unlocked iPhone 4? - 1 I'm thinking of buying a used factory unlocked iPhone 4 from ebay. I do not want to use Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint because they charge a high monthly fee. I would like to use another carrier. I need to know the specific names of other carriers that would support its signal. I can't seem to find this information. Also don't tell me the answer like "All CDMA, GSM carriers, etc" I need to know specific names of carriers.
- What is the tax on the Iphone 5C at Target and Radioshack? With Target mobile online and Radioshack.com, it shows that there are $0 in taxes for my zip code, with any android phone. Is that only for online purchases? Target has the Iphone 5C for $49.99 w/ a $30 gift card and at Radioshack it is $50. I'm not sure what either of those prices would be with tax. When I bought a cell phone with Cricket wireless, from Radioshack.com in Dec 2012, I payed $5.25 in taxes.
