How does stock market works?

Okay, I'm in 9th grade. I don't know what a stock market is! I mean, well I get that we get to like "buy," a small proportion of a company. And if the company is doing great, we will be receiving good amounts of money. Stuff like that.

But I don't know how you can read the stock market stuff. It's like on top of my iPhone and I don't know how to read. It's like another language for me. I mean I know programming.

AND if anything, can you guys help me learn about finance? Mortgage, how to buy a car, the banks.

Everything's on the net you just have to do searches.

  • Why does my iPhone 4 say No Service but also 3g works and so does SMS? Since this afternoon, my iPhone just said No Service. 3g is also show, and SMS works fine! What's wrong? I have ATT if it matters
  • Why are Iphones so expensive than other smartphones in the market? Iphones are manufactured in China… So the manufacturing cost should be very low. Of couse, they have done a lot of R&D work… But so have other smartphone companies like Samsung, HTC etc While you can get other smartphones in the market with same features as in Iphones (or even more features than in Iphone), why are Iphones so overpriced?

  • Stock Market HD app on IPhone? I recently purchased the Stock Market HD app on my iPhone and I was wondering if I can actually purchase stocks using the app or if it's simply for following the stock market. Does anyone know?
