How does this Share Data plan work in Verizon?
Ok so I bought 3 iPhone 4 and 1 Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I got the 2GB data plan. The 2GB is with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I found out is a shared data so that means the other iPhones can Use my Internet. But I don't want them to use my Internet. How do they use my Internet. Do they just go into the Internet and use or do I have to turn on my hotspot for them to use it or how?
Since they are all smart phones. They all use data when they are on the internet, facebook, twitter, ect. 2 GB is not enough data for 4 smart phones. You are going to want to upgrade you data package. They are not using a hotspot. They are just using their phone regularly, which uses data. I have an iPhone 5, and an iPad 3. My girlfriend has an iPhone 5 too. We have 8GB that we share. So I highly suggest upgrading you package and that should help you!
- With Verizon, can two iphones share a data package of 2GB? I have an iphone right now and it costs $30 for 2 GB of data a month. My mom wants to get rid of her basic keyboard phone and upgrade to an iPhone. But she doesn't want to pay an addtional $30 for her 2 GB of data. Is it possible for her to just use some of my data and join my 2 GB plan?

I was wondering is it a right decision to choose the 1GB data share plan, since there will be only one line on the account? - What is data in a Verizon data plan? I just got an iphone 5 and am having some trouble. I know that data includes email, accounts and any internet websites (facebook, youtube, netflix). Does it use up data to have multiple internet browsers open even though I only look at one at a time? Is it possible to use up data when the phone is off? Also, is taking a picture, playing app games, listening to music, and siri considered to be "data" on the data plan? Is there an overall explanation for what a data plan is?
- Verizon Share Everything Plan? I'm confused with this new plan. How much would one iPhone 4S and 2 basic phones cost with about 700 ish minutes and 250 texts per month with 2GB of data?
