How good is the 3G and 4G service from Virgin Mobile?

I'm looking into getting the iPhone 4S on Virgin Mobile and I was wondering how the coverage and general experience is with this product? Thanks in advance

Added (1). I'm aware that the iPhone is only 3G, I was just wondering if people had experiences with the other smart phones on 4g

Virigin moble uses Sprint, so the coverage will be sparse, and you won't get 4G with the iPhone 4s, only 3G.

I've had 2 vm 3g phones in pa and had lil problems with signal can't help with 4g or your area but there not that bad for the piece you pay its no Verizon tho

I got the 4s on virgin mobile figuring I'd save money in the long run with a cheaper monthly plan. But the network is considerably, with a capital c, slower than when I had the iPhone with AT&T, it almost defeats the purpose of even having an iPhone
