How hard is it to replace the iPhone 4 front screen?

I've smashed the front of my screen and I don't know whether to try and replace it myself or go to a shop? Is it hard to do?

Really fiddly.
YouTube it.
I had mine replaced with new one cause I had insurance cover.

It can be hard, but you could always do it by yourself, plus its cheaper than bringing it to a store.
Heres an link of how to replace the screen:

Hope this helps.

Depends how confident you are and how good your eyesight is.
I changed the front screen on mine about 2 months ago and although it was not that difficult (best to watch youtube video a few times), it can be very frustrating as some of the screw are less than 1mm long.
Have a go, you've nothing to lose but your sanity!

From my experience it is quite hard to do if you have no experience of replacing screens you need a iron and a new screen and special tools which well set you back about £15 maybe a little bit cheaper on ebay you have to be very careful as one mistake and you can reck the phone
A shop can be easier as they know what their doing but I don't know how much that will cost if its not too expensive then is go for the shop I know on eBay they do a service where you send them your phone they repair and send back for £29

It is very fiddly and unless you are very confident then it is better not to do the replacement yourself.
Instead google for phone repair stores in your local area and then take it to them and get a quote for changing the screen for you this is the easiest thing to do and you know then for sure that it is gonna be done correctly.
When i had mine replaced it cost me £50 fitted which is not that bad considering the amount of time it takes to actually replace the screen.
