How is the service for striaght talk with the iphone5?

I currently have an iphone 5 and i'm atts network. I'm most likely going to buy out my contract and unlock my phone so I can go to straight talk by the time i'm done ill be saving about $100 which i could really use.i've been reading different things that they only let you use so much data is that true? For the most part i'm home and have my Wi-Fi connection. I was wondering how the service is w/ the iphone and did the iphone run well off the straight talk?

Straight Talk now limits the amount of data you can use if your phone uses the Verizon or AT&T networks for service. Straight Talk does not limit data if your phone uses the T-Mobile or Sprint networks for service.

So if you live where the T-Mobile network is available, you can use your current phone with Straight Talk and use the T-Mobile towers for service and not have limited data. If you live where only Verizon and AT&T networks are available you will have a data cap of 1.5GB of data with the Straight Talk bring your own phone program.

Your phone will run as well as it currently does on AT&T if you use AT&T towers with Straight Talk. If you want to use T-Mobile towers for service, you will need to ask someone who has T-Mobile where you live to see how well the service is in your calling area.

I have the opportunity to buy a Verizon iPhone 5 from a friend for cheap, but i'd like to know if I will receive LTE service when using it on Straight Talk. The answer is yes, plus 3 megas download speeds, and yes puerto rico is part of the continental usa.
