I ordered the iPod touch 5, and it took me about 3 weeks to get there. I think it was because it had been just released, and everyone was going crazy. It also depends on color, engraving, and pure luck! Check the order status frequently, and once it prepares for shipment you can get a tracking number from fedex!
It depends what website you buy it from, and what shipping speed you select. I'm pretty sure vzw.com will get it to your house in about 3 business days. But apple.com will probably take longer. I'm not aure about att.com though. But I would assume also about 3 business days. I think Verizon offers free 2 day shipping actually.
