How long does payment authorizations last on a Visa gift card?
I bought a visa gift card from Walmart and I registered right away.
I found a iPhone charger on amazon and ordered it but I found a better deal so I canceled it.
As I was ordering the charger with the better deal my order wouldn't go through because the order I had cancel was in my payment authorizations making me have less money to order anything else?
This has been going on for 2 days.
Please has anybody had an experience like this? How long will this last? I'm going on vacation in 10 days I'm worried it won't go away before my vacation.
Amazon is usually pretty good about releasing pre-authorized holds. Could be a problem with your prepaid card. You might want to call and ask them how much longer before the funds are released.
- This payment method can't be used with the iTunes Store. Try again using another payment method. I get this error when adding PayPal? As a payment method. I live in the US and this is an option. - Master card gift card declined online? I just bought a $25 MasterCard gift card. I'm trying to buy this iPhone Backup Extractor version that costs $24.95 but my card keeps getting declined. They are a registered company in England & my card says valid only in US, but that shouldn't matter for online, right? i already registered it online.
- ITunes Gift card instead of Credit Card? I found some things that i have been wanting on the iTunes store but i do not have a credit card registered with my account. If i were to buy an iTunes gift card, would that work in lieu of the credit card requirement? Also, the apps that i want to get are for the iPhone. Would buying an app with the gift card affect the plan with the phone in any way?
