How long will it take for my pre-ordered iPhone to arrive at my house?

I ordered the new iPhone 6s plus (rose gold) on September 12th (the first day you could pre-order) the actual phone doesn't go into stores until the 25th. I know its going to arrive after the 25th. But I've never pre-ordered anything before. And it says I won't get it until a month from now. I wanted to know the point in pre-ordering, if you get it after everybody else. Or will I get it before a month from now?

If you ordered the same day the pre orders start I'm sure you'll get it close to the day it is released if not on the day.

If you got the pre-order in early (started at 3:00am ET that morning) it would have guaranteed delivery by the 25th. Pre-ordering does guarantee 1st delivery but for high wanted products like iPhones they demand usually outweighs the supply hence why the weeks long backlog occurs in your case.

Could come sooner than that if supply normalises

  • Will my order take as long as it says to arrive? Ordered an iPhone 5s from Telus a couple days ago. It says on the website to allow 6-8 weeks. Will it really take that long? I live in Canada if that makes a difference.
