How long would it take me to save up for an iPhone 4S?

I would like to save up for the iPhone 4S because I really would like a new phone and they should be going down in price since the new one has come out. I was wondering how long it would take me to save up. I'm not sure of the cost of one at the moment, how much is the average? I get £25 allowance per month, and I would probably need £5 each month, so I would save £20. I get about £60 for Christmas money and birthday money (my birthday is in June). From the above, when do you think I would have enough money for an iPhone, since I don't know the cost of one.

In the UK they're currently £449 on a SIM-free basis direct from Apple. So over the next year you'll have saved £240 from your allowance and £120 from Christmas and your birthday, leaving you short by £89, so you'd need to wait until Christmas 2013 (October, November and December will net you an extra £60 from your allowance, Christmas 2013 will make up the balance and leave you enough for a protective case and a little airtime.

Instead of saving up for an IP4S (I see this a lot not the latest Iphone but the "affordable one)

You should opt for the best phone of 2011 and also the best dual core phone of 2011 which is like all phones cheaper than the IP4S (the IP4S is NOT the best phone of 2011
