How long would it take to learn the code necessary to make an iPhone app?

Not too fancy of an app but just under stand C/objective-C and learn how to use xCode enough to build and app and know how to continue learning.

I've heard it takes around 6 months

when I started facebook I had only worked about 1 year just on the app you might never be able to learn enough If starting today you should learn Swift. You can build a simple app in a few minutes. Do it several times until you understand what you are doing and can do it without guidance. Then move on to a more advanced app.

  • Would final cut be necessary? I'm shooting videos in 4K on a iPhone X editing using FilmicPro. Do you think final cut would still come in handy
