How many songs can you put on a 16 gb iphone?

I got an iphone 5 recently and want to fill it up with songs. I'm not the kind of guy who puts like thousands and thousands of songs inam just plannin to put like a high max of 900 songs. So yer is 16 gb strong enough or would I hav to buy 32gb. By the the min of songs i'm puttin is 100 if tht helps. Sensible answers poz. Soz about wrong category if it is.

1gb = 1000mb

16gb = 16, 000mb

1 song (lets say) = 5mb

so 16, 000mb divided by 5mb = 3, 200

so about 3200 songs

but remember thats your storage for everything, apps will take up storage, and pics and stuff too

I would suggest you get the 32gb because if you get the 16gb and put lots of music on the device then you are not gonna have any room for apps and other media.

  • How many pictures apps and songs can the iPhone 4s 16gb hold? I'm mostly gonna use it for pictures apps and maybe a couple short videos and maybee 40 songs or even less. Just switched from a galaxy s2 and on that one I had about 2000 pics and like 50 apps and about 50 songs. Will my iPhone 4s hold as much as that?
  • Does Apple Music limit you to how many songs you can download for offline use? For example, I'm currently using Spotify for all my music. I love the service, but they limit me to 3,333 songs on my iPhone even though I have plenty more storage space. I just recently reached my song limit and it's really frustrating. I'm thinking about switching to Apple Music, but I want to make sure they don't limit me too. Does anyone know if there's a limit to how many songs I can download for offline usage on Apple Music?
  • Can you use Spotify to put songs onto iTunes? I've recently discovered that all of my songs on iTunes have the (!) symbol next to them… I've searched through my computer, looking for the missing songs, but to no avail. A friend of mine told me to use Spotify (a music app on iTunes) I installed it onto my computer, and my iPhone. I have all the songs I want on Spotify. Is it possible to somehow put the songs from Spotify onto iTunes, so I won't have to go into the app just to listen to the music?
  • Can you put songs on your laptop without using Itunes? Can i just plug in my usb from my iphone to my laptop and transfer songs and what not? If you can how do you do it? I can't use iTunes because i need a password to install it. Any help?
