How much battery will drain if it is fully charged?
So my phone charger broke and I'm using my sisters until I get a new phone. So we both usually charge it while we're sleeping. So I'm charging my before I fall asleep and I use an alarm on my iPhone to wake up. So how much battery will drain when my phone has a set alarmed without it being charged.
As long as you don't have too many apps running in the background you should lose less than 10% in my experience. You could also put it in airplane or low power mode to try to reduce power usage even more.
Having the alarm set uses almost none of your battery energy. You are overly worried.
If your battery is in good condition your phone should be between 90-95 percent charged in the morning
Make sure you kill all open apps before leaving it.
You should do that as a matter of course any time you finish using any app.
(Double-click home and flick everything off screen).
Mine drains less than 5% overnight.
If the battery drain increases, kill all apps then shut down and restart the phone. Mine seems to need that every couple of weeks.
- Why won't my iPhone turn on until it is fully charged? So I have a second generation iPhone with the iOS4.3 software. If my phone ever dies, I will plug it in, and it will give me the "dead and not charged enough to turn on" picture. If it is charging for twenty minutes, and I unplug it, it will still say it is dead. My phone will only turn on when it is fully charged, It is really inconvenient. Why does it do that? Can i fix it or is it some glitch that came with the phone?

What could have happened? Should I send it back?
