How much can an 8gb iphone 4 hold?

I already have 334 songs on it now.

ITunes will give you the breakdown.

It holds 8192 mb. But it depends on how much mb the song is. Anyways It CAN hold up to 2000 song. It can hold alot of Apps and videos etc.

Just go to your settings. It will give you a better idea

your songs have a certain memories.
lets say a 3:20 MP3 is around 100Kb. (its not! This is just for easy calc.)
1 Gb is 1, 024Mb so 8Gb is 8, 192Mb.
1 Mb is 1, 024Kb so 8, 192MB is 8, 388, 608Kb
so now you just do 8288608/100 is 82, 886 songs
but your songs won't be all of the exact same memory so there's no way to say how much songs you can hold on your iphone. Because MP3 can differ in quality they also differ in memory.

now a normal MP3 song is most times encoded at 128Kb/s CBR (constant bit rate) occupy about 900Kb/m. So you can hold around a total of 9, 321 minutes of music. That way 8Gb (8, 388, 608 Kb) is almost equal to 9, 321 minutes of audio or approx 2, 663 songs of 3.5 minutes each.

if you have higher quality songs (like 256Kb/s CBS) you get less songs ofcourse but even this way you will get way over 1500 songs on it: D

Songs are variable in their size, so there's no ___ number that will be 100% accurate.
