How much can i sell my Iphone 5 for?

I have a black Iphone 5.It's 16GB EE
It's in very good condition and i want to sell it but i'm not sure what price i'd be looking to sell it for as it is used. Can someone give me an idea?

Well, since the new iPhone 5S and 5C are out. It might sell for a little cheaper than before the new phones were released unfortunately.

But you say it is with EE, are you on a contract for it? You may possibly want to sell the contract to the potential buyers if it seems appealing.

I have an iPhone 5 myself and I'd say you might get between £300 and £400, since I see some people selling them at the moment for £399.99 and such. That's without contracts on it I think.

But I wouldn't know any more that that unfortunately. Around £300-£400 seems to be the best option I'd say.

EE do not provide an unlocking service or a pay as you go option which does devalue the phone a little because some people don't like EE and it would be costly to get it unlocked.

If you go and have a look on sites like gumtree and preloved you will get an idea of what other people are asking for their iphone 5, the most I have seen one up for is £400 and those are generally either unlocked or still have a long warranty on them, some are only a few months old for that price.

Mostly for a locked one in good condition they are going for about £300-350 and people are more likely to respond to your ad if you still have the box and receipt, a box means it makes a more appealing gift and at this time of year plenty of people are already buying for Christmas and a receipt is reassurance that the phone was not stolen.

Don't even bother going to somewhere like the CEX shop, they will offer you much less than it is actually worth, a private sale always generates more money and despite people thinking that interest in the iphone 5 is falling a lot of people do still want them because the 5s is so expensive and the 5c is just an iphone 5 repackaged in a coloured case so a lot of people want the middle ground of the iphone 5.
