How much does it cost monthly to own an iPhone with TMobile?

I really want an iPhone 5 or 5s, and now that TMobile has them it would be much easier to afford. I'm just wondering though, how much would my monthly phone bill cost? I'd obviously want unlimited calls and texting, but I don't need unlimited data because I can use mostly Wi-Fi when I'm home and such. Can somebody help me out?

I'm a happy T-Mobile customer- have been for over a decade. Their customer service can't be beat!

One thing you should know is that they are contract free now and they no longer subsidize phones. That means you have to pay full price. If you can't pay the full price up front, they do offer payment plans for the phone. I purchased my iPhone 5 in full (from Apple, before T-Mobile even sold it) but my teens each just got a 5c and they are making payment arrangements. For us, the downpayment was less than $50 and then they pay $20 a month for two years (24 months). That is in addition to the cost of the plan, of course.

T-Mobile's new Simple Choice Plan is $50 a month for the first line. That includes unlimited talking, unlimited texting and unlimited data (with 500 mb of high speed data, after that it is slowed down but still usable- and no overages. This should not be a problem for you since you will use Wi-Fi). I travel out of the country, so I'm also liking their new international texting and data for free in over 100 countries (including where I travel). It costs NOTHING extra.

Jump is a new insurance program and is optional. We opted out of it. You pay $10 a month (per line) and after six months, you can upgrade your phone. If you are still paying for a phone via their payment plans, they will "forgive" the rest when you turn in the phone and you start new with a new phone and payment plan. If your phone is lost, damaged, stolen it is replacable under the insurance. However, there's a processing fee for each claim (I think $5 or $10, but that is in addition to the monthly fee) and there's also a deductible that varies by phone.

You would need to configure a plan online to find that out. Of course how you use it within a month's time would matter as well.
