How much does it cost to make an app?
For my project I'm designing iphone app (for customer to use) for car rental comany and desktop app (for company to use ). The desktop app and iphone app work 100% they are already complete and developed.In 2nd of may I have presntation and we were told that when we present our
applications we have to pretend that the teachers are the company people that we want to sell our product to. In the final report for the project we were asked to write "how much will the system cost "
I'm confused does it mean how much will it cost to sell or how much will it cost to create the app or how much does it cost to create the app?
how can I estimate the price to sell product (desktop and iphone app [do I need to include the SQL developer (oracle) price as well ])?

To estimate the price, most stores make items Way expensive when they first open. As they stay in business, item costs get cheaper and cheaper.
Estimate the cost you want your app to be to the nearest hundredth. Once you've estimated the cost of your app, simply send it off to Apple to get released.
If their test of the app is successful, they will approve and your app will be released, with the cost you set for it.

- Why does it cost to make an iphone app? I just don't understand why it would cost you to make an app? I do understand the 100 dollar fee apple charges you to publish it to itunes, but i don't understand why it would cost thousands of dollars if your creating the coding off by scratch? If you are creating the codes why does that cost thousands of dollars? It should be free since you are manually typing in the codes? It might be a dumb question but i really just do not understand it?
