How much does it cost to replace an iphone 4 screen now that the iphone 5 is out?

I just shattered the front screen on my iphone 4.It's out of warrantee, but I remember that earlier this year it cost $149 to fix at apple and the 4s cost $199… I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's cheaper now that the iphone 5 is released.

Yeah it is way cheaper now because iPhone 5 released. You an probably get it repaired for around 100$ or something, My iPhone 4's speakers were blown and i had to replace the speakers and the repair cost has reduced a lot because iPhone 5 released.

It will vary from where you get it done, but i recommend contacting the store you want to fix it for you, and ask them. They will be able to tell you straight away.

DO NOT BUY AN OTTER BOX DEFENDER 4! I purchased one of these cases based on the video you can see on their website. Understanding that adds tend to lean towards the hyperbole side, I don't rock climb and so I presumed that the phone would at minimum be protected from a 6ft fall (my height). Well not only is it not protected from a 6ft fall but 2.5ft! It fell flat on it's face with the cover on and I now have a broken glass on my new Iphone with a newly purchased otterbox case. I just emailed their customer service department to see what type of compensation I might be able to get towards the purchase of a new glass (if any). I guess the best thing to do is just don't drop it… Maybe the Apple Store near me would be as generous and helpful as the store you went to.

Nah I don't think it is, my brother tried and they said $199 for his iPhone 4, money which he just does not have and was not willing to hand over for a new screen. One of his mates told him about this new site called iscreensfix.com, where you buy a new screen and replace it yourself. He was a little sceptical at the start, but he thought he might as well try because he could always get a refund. Anyway, he bought a membership, logged on and was guided through steps of replacing my screen, by following the guides and videos. He was also shown how and where to get a new screen. He seemed extremely satisfied (only cost him $17 and a new screen), and was able to fix the screen really quickly and easily. Even when he sent emails they responded on the same day, so overall he was really pleased.
