How much internet will I need on my iPhone 5?

I stream a lot of videos, download a lot of apps. I mainly stream videos and download apps when I'm in my own Wi-Fi, but I do stream the occasional youtube video on the go. With the iPhone 5 being 4G does that mean it will use more data? What data plan should I get?

I'd say at least 5g or more

No, having a 4G phone doesn't mean you will consume more data, it just means that the internet will load quicker. If your going to watch the occasional YouTube video, i would suggest at least 3GB of internet, maybe more, because YouTube sucks data like no tomorrow.

When i'm out and about I'm usually updating my twitter and Facebook account. But, when I'm put my phone down, 3G still says I'm using it and charging me.   • My Iphone is not letting me access the internet or internet based apps? I have an Iphone 5. Never had any issues but now it won't connect to the internet or any apps. It does the same thing it does when I have no service (just has that little circle symbol that means it's trying to get through). Orginally, I thought it must be a universal problem but everyone else has service and they are in the same location as me. Also I always use my phone here with no problems. I have tried turning it off and on again but nothing.

  • Internet via iPhone's Personal Hotspot vs Cable Internet? I currently have a data plan with unlimited 4G data with my phone carrier. I can share its cellular connection with my desktop at home which has been working out great even for streaming videos. Is there any reason we should still buy Internet service from an Internet service provider like Comcast, when all I have to do is use the Internet connection from my phone carrier? What are the advantages?
