How much is it to break a Verizon contract?

I have Verizon. I have had my phone for 6 months and want the new iPhone. How much is it to break the 2year.contract. Do you have to break it if your just switching phones?

$325 - $10 for each month you have had the phone under an active contract, so if its 6 months, would be -$60, etc.

so $325 - $60 = $265

  • Will factory unlocking my iPhone break its contract with my service provider? I bought the iPhone 5 for $199.It's on contract, so it's not only locked to AT&T for two years, but I'm required to pay monthly for the use of this phone for two years. I'm interested in buying the factory unlock on ebay, but I want to know if the contract is going to break with AT&T.
  • What happens if I break the contract? I'm looking at iphone deals with pay monthly tariffs (in the UK). Just wondering if I break the contract what is the fee and is it worth doing to get a decent handset?

What will happen if The contract is over? Will it just be my contract or will it affect my other family members that has At@t? Even if I unjailbreak it will they know?
  • Should I break my Verizon contract? I have 7 months left on my cell phone contract. I hate how companies are making you wait two yrs instead of one when updated models are coming out yearly. I want the iPhone 5. I currently have the 4. If I buy before my upgrade I know it will be insanely expensive. So what if I break my contract and sign a new one? Will they let you sign a new one right away If you do that and what is the fee for it?
