How much is my iPhone 3GS worth? - 2
I have an 8gb iPhone 3GS, but 8gb is too small for me, so I have a 16gb now. I want to sell the 8gb, but can someone tell me how much you think it is worth? It is black, with no cracks, but a few very very light surface scratches, that are barely noticeable and can't be seen when the screen is on. It has the both, complete with original charger, headphones etc. It is locked to orange. Thank you!

Iphone 3gs is pretty old. I would say 100 MAXIMUM and that's if you get lucky, there are websites such as www.gumtree.com where you can compare the prices to others selling the phone, then you can decide promptly
£40-£60 is the max for iPhone 3GS. You won't get £100 for an old iPhone.
Obviously condition matters but check ebay and see what people are asking comparable.
You can recycle your old phones or ipods on apple's site and they will give you store credit for it, so at least you will get something back for it.

The battery only just lasts the day, but it lasts. On iOS 6, its not super fast but it does the job. I would love a new iPhone 5, but what would I really be getting that my 3GS doesn't give me? I have a very small budget and getting a iPhone 5 would mean I would be broke for 6 or so months. What are the pros and cons of upgrading from a 3GS to a 5?
