How much to cancel my contract with my iPhone 5 on Verizon?

I want to know the cost in cancelling my contract with Verizon with my iPhone 5. I have had it since early this summer, so about 3 months in total. If I cancel my contract and pay the early termination fee do I get to keep my device? The reason why is I'm looking to sell my phone and trade up to a 5s. Thanks

Added (1). I'm asking on here because my computer can't seem to load Verizon's web page, or even Apple's for that matter so don't think of me as a non-intuitive individual or just plain lazy. I'm not such.
