How much trouble can i get in for having this felony charge?

The other day a iphone was stolen in class and i happened to be blamed for it. A girl said i threatened to shoot or kill her if i snitched which never happened at all and i'm angry because my school arrested me with no proof of me having any phone and suspended me for 5 days because the girl is pressing charges. I might even get expelled because of this and goto LP or juvy. I live in LBC, any advice for me?

A lot.
Talk to your parents right away, and get a lawyer.
This will follow you into your adult life- especially if you keep posting things about it online (don't do that any more!).

A lawyer can help get them to produce proof that you stole a phone and made threats- there's usually some truth to every story, so be honest- but get a lawyer right away and tell the lawyer everything that really happened- everything.

  • Will I go to jail or receive a felony for a iPhone I found and sold? Or what are the odds? Yes I actually found it, it was left on a staircase with no one around and after a while I just decided I would go to GameStop and see what they would offer me. I ended up getting 100 dollars but now I'm worried someone might call it in stolen or missing and they'll track me down.

  • In terms of California Penal Code Section 594 is this a misdemeanor or felony? I got in a intense fight with a friend for a few days ago and ended up break their phone. They are now telling me they are thinking about pressing charges. He had an iPhone but got it on contract so paid a subsidized price. If he goes through with it would the court go by the prce he paid for it which was like $199 or full retail price (+$500)? Price* he paid for it
