How much would a verizon plan cost?

I'm currently on my parents plan, but my dad refuses to pay for internet. I have a job and have been saving A LOT of money to start my own plan.
I would love to have a smart phone (prob an iphone) and with that I need to start paying internet. I would like to know how much it would be all together with the phone and starting the plan.plus roughly each monthly costs.
I've tried looking on Verizon and what not, but I'm just not understanding any of it… I'm open to other carriers.

You should stay on your family's plan and ask your dad to get the internet plan for you and you agree to pay for it yourself. Having an individual plan would be much more expensive.
I have a family plan for 5 members and it comes out to ~240 with Verizon and I give my mom $50 a month for my internet / texting

I currently have Verizon now and I don't like it. They got rid of the unlimited data plan so you have to buy GB of data which can get expensive depending on how much internet you use. If you could id maybe go with sprint. They have the unlimited talk text and web plan for $40 a month. But I don't know if they have the iphone.

$101.68 per month average bill, give or take $5 depending on your area tax rates. My bill is $91 per month, but I get a 10% discount because I'm employee with a company that has a business contract with Verizon. College also have the same discounts. Just ask your store representative

ATT has very similar prices.scary they are almost identical since ATT and Verizon are mortal enemies… And Sprint will be $10 cheaper and have unlimited data due to their Simply Everything plans…
